‘Diversity’ trails offering an alternative history of Oxford, automated identification of plant leaves and software to help with investment decisions: three very varied ideas for projects that have been submitted to the Spring 2016 IT Innovation Challenge. But time is creeping on, and there are only twelve more days for you to add your own idea to the Oxford Ideas website in any of these areas:
- inclusivity: ie helping to promote equality, value diversity and maintain a working, learning and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all staff and students are respected to assist them in reaching their full potential;
- facilitating the capturing and/or recording of research data and processes;
- an ‘open’ category for ideas in other areas.
A reminder… The IT Innovation Challenges provide funding up to £60,000 for small-scale digital projects that will bring a benefit to the University; for example, by creating an app or website, or by using an existing technology in a novel way.
Closing date for ideas: Saturday 12 March 2016
Closing date for discussion and voting: Friday 18 March
