A lunchtime session is an easy, low-commitment way of getting a brief overview of either research data management as a whole, or a specific aspect of it. Typically, these consist of a short presentation, followed by time for questions and discussions.
Past lunchtime sessions have included:
- Ten Top Things Researchers Need to Know about Research Data Management – an overview for University of Oxford researchers
- Keeping on Top of Your Research Data – practical tips for day-to-day data management
- Resources for Research Data Managers – an overview of resources for management and support staff with RDM-related responsibilities
The Research Support team (in collaboration with ITLP) also hosts Things to do with Data, an ongoing series of lunchtime events covering a range of data-related topics.
We are also happy to provide other short custom presentations on any aspect of research data management, either as a standalone session, or as part of a larger event or series run by a division or department. If you would like to organize one of these, please email us on email@example.com
