On the 22nd and 23rd Sept the WW1 Project is hosting its final workshop for educators of First World War studies. The participants this time are mostly higher education lecturers, but also with a mix of teachers from primary to FE to adult learning, across a range of subjects.
The aim of the workshop is two-fold. Firstly to introduce how the electronic archival resources in our archives can be used to enhance the teaching of the subject, and introduce a small selection of technologies that could be used for teaching and learning. Secondly to get the participants to actually create lesson plans, learning activities, and teaching resources that we then make available on our website, or act as exemplars of good practice.
