The Penrose Pavement outside the Maths Institute is just one of many subjects for your camera!

The Penrose Pavement outside the Maths Institute is just one of many potential subjects for your camera.

The joinin team runs light-touch lunchtime sessions around the University to introduce staff to popular digital technologies that might come in handy, whether at work or at home. Today we’re introducing UAS conference delegates to Instagram, a fun and easy-to-use social media tool for sharing photos. Wander around the Maths Institute, snap a few cool pics and see how many ‘likes’ you get!

If joining in today inspires you to have a session in your own workplace, send us an email: joinin@it.ox.ac.uk. You can choose from topics such as…

Twitter, WhatsApp, Pinterest, QR codes, wearable smart devices, fitness apps (e.g. Strava), shooting and editing videos on your phone – or even finding out why your teenage offspring is mad about Minecraft.

In fact, the list is (almost) endless!

joinin only    The joinin project is sponsored by the University’s IT Innovation Seed Fund.
