Regular readers of this blog, if there are any, will know of my enthusiasm for The John Johnson Collection of Digitised Printed Ephemera. In December we submitted a bid to JISC from LTG to work with ProQuest, the Bodleian Library and Kellogg College Centre for Creative Writing to make use of that collection in improving digital literacy skills for adult learners in the community.
News from JISC indicates that there were 56 other bids to the same call. That’s 50 more than will be funded. We wait to hear and are making considerable use of digital overlay techniques: Fingers crossed.
