summer interns, summer not

Over the summer IT Services offer paid internships to Oxford University Students. These are exciting opportunities to join our dedicated IT Services teams and we are looking for students from various backgrounds. The internship will offer you valuable work experience that will help in your future career, as well as being part of a key project for the University. All internships will run for eight weeks over July and August 2013, and you will be paid £12.05 an hour plus a pro-rata holiday entitlement. The six internship opportunities for 2013 are:

  • Open Educational Resources (OER)
  • Software Hub Project
  • System Testing for the Online Research Database Service (ORDS)
  • Drupal Media
  • Media Metadata Analyst
  • Project Russet – Perl library for OS X desktop configuration

We are also recruiting a java developer to join our WebLearn team and (soon) a new IT teacher to replace the irreplacable Mr Ian Miller.
