{"id":614,"date":"2010-08-06T14:45:20","date_gmt":"2010-08-06T13:45:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oucs.ox.ac.uk\/runcoco\/?p=614"},"modified":"2010-08-06T16:50:18","modified_gmt":"2010-08-06T15:50:18","slug":"digital-content-quarterly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.it.ox.ac.uk\/runcoco\/2010\/08\/06\/digital-content-quarterly\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Content Quarterly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Digital Content Quarterly<\/em> is a magazine published in print and online by the <a title=\"To the SCA website (new window)\" href=\"http:\/\/sca.jiscinvolve.org\" target=\"_blank\">Strategic Content Alliance<\/a> (SCA): &#8220;an initiative created to support citizens in gaining best value from the public investment made in digital content&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Strategic Content Alliance works on behalf of the public sector to  reduce the barriers that currently inhibit access, use and re-use of  digital content and to build a common information environment where  users of publicly funded content can gain best value from the investment  that has been made.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oxford University Computing Services (where the RunCoCo project is based) has just become an affiliate member of SCA (<a title=\"To the SCA website (new window)\" href=\"http:\/\/sca.jiscinvolve.org\/wp\/join-us\/\" target=\"_blank\">more information about affiliate membership<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Digital Content Quarterly<\/em> summer issue 2010 features an interesting collection of articles, as briefly outlined below (click on the links to go to the article).
