We now have the schedule for migrating the Bodleian’s CONNECT file storage to new hardware. Some of this work will require downtime but we have planned to do this out of hours to minimise disruption.
During a number of evenings in September and October certain folders in the Bodleian drive, mapped as Q:\ will be unavailable from 8pm until 5am the following morning. Click here to see the schedule.
During the migrations access to your data will not be possible so please save and close files before the start of the planned work and log off your computer. Please do not attempt to access the data again until after the migrations have been completed.
If you manually map to these drives from a non-CONNECT device then you should not need to make any changes if you are using the DFS link \\connect.ox.ac.uk\bodl If you have any problems after the migration of your data then please contact the Service Desk.
