Office 2013 Rollout

si_office2013Office 2013 was made available to install on all CONNECT workstations from 1st July. It is available on the Oxford Application Installer menu and from 1st August you will start to see messages asking you to upgrade on any machine which is still running Office 2010. These messages will occur daily through August with the option to delay the upgrade, however from 1st September this option to delay the upgrade will be removed.

For guidance on using personal templates within Office please refer to help page at http://help.it.ox.ac.uk/connect/usingconnect/applications#Office_2013. The CONNECT Remote Desktop Service will be upgraded to Office 2013 during August.

If you are using a managed Access database please refer to the database owners who will have further information sent to them from Software Solutions.
